Soraya believes yoga can help anyone to see the true self and help them accept who and where they are. Yoga has helped her not only in her practice but in her daily life.

Soraya’s goal in teaching a class is to create a safe atmosphere for her students to become stronger physically, emotionally and spiritually, giving modifications and props that will allow each student to be successful in his or her yoga postures practice. Her classes flow with inspiration and motivation with an emphasis on alignment and breath.

Stueart Mill has lived in the area since 1986 and began practicing yoga about 9 years ago. He took classes where and when possible while traveling for employment as Chief Engineer of a merchant ship. He enjoyed benefits from yoga and how it can be so much more than just an exercise class. Soon after retiring from sea, he took a new challenge and completed teacher training "Inquiring Within" Daytona Anahata Yoga completed Spring 2017. Visit schedule for his classes.
Terry Brown, CPYI, E-RYT 500, co-director of the Triad Yoga Institute, has been a student of Yoga and meditation since 1984. Terry's extensive journey in the study of Yoga has led him to study with a variety of teachers and traditions, however he now considers Aadil Palkhivala, founder of Purna Yoga, his main teacher and influence. Terry is a certified Purna Yoga Instructor and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. He teaches alignment-based asana to enhance the connection of the energetic and physical bodies, thereby enhancing the yoga poses' benefits and healing effects. Terry also combines his knowledge of the human anatomy and experience in working with physical limitations into his teaching.

Debbie Maier, study under Sri Dharma Mittra, dedicates her practice to inspiring students of all ages and backgrounds to find inner peace. She hopes students leave her classes with a smile and desire to live their yoga off the mat making a positive impact throughout the world.
The Pacific Northwest native is a former NCAA Division I athlete who has practiced yoga and meditation since 2000. Mother to three children and an active entrepreneur in High Point, NC, Debbie has owned DeBeen Espresso sice 1997 and Pure Light Yoga since 2011.
